"Upon arriving at Chelsea, a team in transition, the difficulty was trying to transmit my own ideas in a very short space of time because we were playing two or three games a week. In fact we are the team with the most games played in Europe".

"The team is showing many positives in a lot of games. We have scored more than one hundred goals so far".

"Azpilicueta is progressing a lot and really well".

"I can say that with Azpilicueta we misjudged time, for the good. We thought he would go to the National Team this year but we hadn’t imagined that it would be so soon. He deserves it. He will grow and develop even more if he continues to work the way he is".

"I think that Fernando Torres will return to the National Team. Each time he has more chances to score and he will score. Logically it depends on Vicente (del Bosque) and the decision is his alone. As for me, seeing how Fernando (Torres) works, I think yes, he will return".

"The thing with some Chelsea fans is that in the past I was manager at Liverpool and there was a lot of rivalry between the two teams. But in fairness I am professional and fully focussed on achieving success for Chelsea. When we win a game I am the happiest man in the world. Now I win them with Chelsea and for Chelsea".

"Return to Real Madrid? I have a contract until the end of the season with Chelsea and I am going to do everything I can for this club. Real Madrid have a manager on contract and deserves respect. As a manager you always have ties with fans that have treated you well. I am from Madrid and I joined Real at the age of 13 but I do not want to enter into any speculation as my words are often misinterpreted. Of course I follow the Spanish league but what I want now is to win lots of games with Chelsea. The more the better".

"I think that PSG were very clinical in the first leg (of the Champions League) and Valencia is not going to have it easy. Let’s see".

"The tie between Real Madrid and Manchester United is 50/50. Manchester United at home is used to winning and controlling games. I can imagine that is what (Alex) Ferguson will do against Real Madrid".

"Barcelona seems to be the favourite in their tie, however Milan is always a great team. And Malaga also has a difficult rival but they are having a great season and deserve recognition".

"Yes, perhaps in part it is a surprise seeing Atlético Madrid second in the table between Barcelona and Real Madrid but they deserve it. I sincerely think that they are doing a fantastic job".
