Rafa Benitez has been tasked in delivering the inaugural Football Module: Medicine and Science that is part of the Sport & Exercise MSC that was launched in Chelsea’s training complex-Cobham.

Rafa received the request from the head of medical services at Chelsea, Dr. Francisco Biosca, and he gladly accepted to be the person who opened the academic teaching. The course focuses on the links between professional football and the world of sports science and medicine.

Benítez based his lecture on his extensive practical experience in professional football managing some of Europe's top clubs.
