Rafa Benitez has made a thorough analysis of his team's victory against Torino (2-0) in the game played at the 'San Paolo' stadium. The Spanish coach in his post match appearance in the pressroom praised the play of his Naples team whilst acknowledging that his team may have lacked a defining edge when converting the chances that they had.

"The team have shown commitment on the pitch in looking for the opposing goal. They have shown great strength and produced a good game but we lacked decisiveness and took our time when trying to complete the game. After being up two nil, we should have scored a third goal - we had the occasion to do this", said Benitez in the press conference after the game to the accredited media.

"At this stage of the competition in Serie A, we can not afford to leave the game open after controlling the game so long and have had control over it. If Turin had found the goal that they sought, the game would have been open again - which would have complicated our victory and we would have suffered, but we had the game under control. We must realize the chances we create through hard work".

Benitez is happy with the progress of the team, as evidenced by his own words when he says that the "players have the correct mentality and spirit necessary to seek victory at all times. Now the important thing is to keep working and continue along this path. It is clear that we have not reached the limit of our evolution, we are still at 75 percent of our potential, but we want to reach our highest level in the shortest time possible".

The coach of Napoli spoke of upcoming commitments that they face, both in the Italian championship and in the Champions League. Saying that they would "now rest a little and enjoy this victory. But tomorrow we go back to work to prepare for the next commitments. The championship is long. Roma and Juventus are not the only rivals, we can not forget Inter and Fiorentina, who is also our next opponent on Wednesday", recalled Benitez before adding, "I think it will be a competition between at least five teams and will require great patience. But for me today has more value for example than the victory in Marseille. We should have closed the game and been more decisive in front of the goal", he said.
