On Wednesday 14 March, the MBF will meet at the Wirral Lodge Hotel to present a cheque to the people of 'INVISIBLE INJURIES' (Reg. Charity no. 1145864), a new charity based on the Wirral, which will help people with post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD), by using a new therapy technique.

This new therapy being used to treat patients with PTSD, was originally developed by Mick Stott, who has since trained two other therapists, Andy Lee & Paul Dean.

Any monies received by the charity will help support training for future therapists. Trevor McGonigle, an active fund raiser for the MBF who has an army background, is hoping to train as a therapist with 'INVISIBLE INJURIES'.

Montse Benitez and Chris & Linda Weston of the MBF will be joined by Mick Blease, newly appointed Heswall & Hoylake Police Inspector, Sergeant Graham Parker Merseyside Police, and members of the police who took part in the charity bike race and runs last year to raise funds for the MBF.

The police cyclists will hand over a cheque for £4000 on behalf of the MBF to Mike Burke, Mick Stott, Andy Lee & Paul Dean of the 'INVISIBLE INJURIES' charity.
