The ex-player of Valencia, now studying to become a coach and talking to Damian Tiscornia on 01.01.2011 in an interview for Goal.com about the 2001-2 league season which he won with Valencia, recalled the title and what would remain with him when he finished his playing career and added:

On Rafa Benitez as a coach he commented:
"A very methodical coach. A coach who lives for and with football 24 hours a day. A coach who thinks about all the possible details to help the player".
He also spoke about him always analysing videos, analysing the opposition and the strengths and weaknesses of the players.
