I'm writing this to celebrate the fact that we reach 100K followers on my official Instagram, @rafabenitezrb. It's been a few years since I decided to start using social media, the most recent one of those being social media which in this case is based on photos, to be able to make the gap between me and the fans smaller and to demonstrate the engagement on social media of my team and me. Our Instagram family keeps growing, allowing us to keep motivated to move in this direction.
I've always found it important to bring our daily work to my followers, I've always had a special relation with them wherever I've worked. The bond formed with fans is always important in modern football, and this positive response shows this. We keep growing and reaching more people. Both my team and I see it as a personal achievement and we understand the importance of having so many people looking for updates.
For all of this I would like to emphasise how grateful I am, not only to the now 100K followers on Instagram, but for each and every fan who has stood behind any of the projects I have been involved in. I've always tried to involve myself in the projects 100%, not only on the work side, but also in becoming like another fan of the Club and attempting to involve myself in the cities I have been in.
On my part, I will continue to use any tool at my disposal to be able to be closer to you all. I hope to see you all on the website as well as on Twitter and Instagram (and now including Weibo, where we have just opened an account!). Speak soon!
