Showing a love for her daughters, husband, family and also a love for others. But who are these others? Children, elderly and homeless people are just some of the people that Montserrat, known to everyone as Montse, the wife of Rafa Benítez. Montse help’s on a daily basis through the foundation that bears her name and also Rafa´s. Forty-six years of age from Madrid, Montse, of Galician origins and ancestry has a single objective: to raise funds and share them with various local charities of Merseyside and Wirral. Hazel eyed ,bubbly and always smiling Montse, lives in a rural area but very close to large towns and cities including Liverpool., leaving aside the sophistication and the 'shopping' lifestyle, which can be typical of the upper classes. A small group of good friends support her in her altruistic and commendable work. She wakes up early to bring her daughters to school and then immediately going to work in the charity from home, because there, one can only understand really what the word fraternity means. Montse's charities vary from helping homeless people to the visually impaired, autism, disabled children of varying disabilities which covers many charities. The Foundation have no offices or staff and are very proud to say that every penny raised goes to charity.. To Naples, Montse comes rarely, if anything, once a month to spend a weekend with her husband and children when school holidays allow, all together as the real family that they are. On the future, Montse prefers not to make plans, as that is her motto. Therefore only considering achieving victories, already looking to what the future holds.
