"With the game being a Monday we have extra time for players returning. It’s difficult to get players ready for a Saturday, so they should be fine. Lascelles has been training and should be fine".

"Monday night will be a tough game. Arsenal are doing really well. If we can do what we have to do and get 3 points, then we have to see what the other teams do first. One game might be enough, but you never know. We just have to carry on. Every game is still a final".

"If we do well, also if we get a little bit of luck, we can compete with anyone. The team is solid and we have confidence in ourselves. The stats are the same as last year, which is interesting, but we are more of a threat in attack because we know what we’re doing".

"Not really [any approaches from other clubs]. I can read the same as you. But for me I am just concentrating on talking with Newcastle and see where we can go. I talk with Lee Charnley sometimes, but I am just concentrating on the games for now".

"We know we have to win maybe just one more game. But if we can’t win the next one, we just have to keep going. I will not put us under pressure. We just need to stay calm and focus on the next game, then see what happens".

"He is someone who maybe people don’t remember was injured when he first came. But since he has scored goal and he has been crucial for us in the way we want to play. I was talking to him in the office this morning and he knows he has to keep scoring goals".

"I like to spend time with my family when I can. Normally we have 2 or 3 days off, then we try to stay there, and we have already stuff prepared ready for the Arsenal game. My staff are well prepared and we are ready".

"We take these things very seriously, He had a test over there and another here to be sure he is fine. He is okay. I will not create something. We took care of that, we tried to do the right things".

"It's important not to say too much. We know what we have to do and we did it, and that's it".

"The international break is always quite complicated for us, especially at this stage of the season".

"You can see a lot of injuries because the players are tired, the national teams are playing for something and are pushing players".

"We have some knocks but Sean Longstaff is the only one who is injured at the moment. Fabian had another test this morning [Friday] and he was fine. He was training lightly with the team".

"At the moment I think they will be fine but we have Christian Atu, DeAndre Yedlin and Miguel Almiron coming back today. We need to be sure they are okay".
