Rafa Benítez, SSC Napoli head coach, regrets that his team have not achieved a victory after scoring three goals and is committed to regaining calm, he considers this fundamental in reverting the current situation. He will continue to focus on his work as the key to finding success. He made these declarations at the end of the game against Palermo where they drew three all in the San Paolo stadium. The Spanish coach acknowledges that the club is going through a difficult time, but analysed the game believing that luck had once again not been on their side. Napoli dominated the game from the first minute, and gravely paid for their mistakes, once again, with punctual errors when it seemed that everything was going well. In summary, Benítez explained "it is clear that this team needs to regain intensity and calm, what has happened today sufficiently supports our previous approach".

"On a positive note, I think we have to highlight that we have scored three goals and in the first 15 minutes we were already 2-0 up on the scoreboard and dominating the game. Furthermore, we had a clear penalty which was not given and in my point of view that could have changed the course of the game once again. Having said that, it ́s clear to anyone that despite our merits we should not be suffering so much in games like today and also in some of our previous games" recognised the Spanish coach, who added "it ́s clear that we are missing an element of calmness, especially in those difficult moments and we need to regain that as soon as possible because we are paying a high price. I think that this same team played really well last year and I am absolutely certain that they will return to their best sooner rather than later, I am sure. I am the head coach of a group that has a lot of quality and strength and that needs to regain their top form displayed not so long ago".

"We need to regain intensity and the appropriate mentality like we had last season",  declared the head coach of the Neapolitan club shortly after highlighting that "to reach an objective, you need to work with a precise method. This is exactly what we are doing, but it is a complicated start to the season, we need to continue working together to show our true quality once again".

When asked whether his position is at risk, the Spanish coach clearly replied "No not all. I don’t think my position is at risk. I am only thinking about working. We have a strong group, we believe in our potential and we want to demonstrate this as soon as possible. Last season we managed to beat big teams and I think that with strength we will go back to being alongside the best at the soonest possible moment. I am the head coach of a team with a lot of quality which we will demonstrate" concluded Benítez.
