Rafa Benitez Napoli coach said his team could still achieve great victories in both the championship and the Coppa Italia in the press conference before the match against Parma. The coach of the 'azzurro' has returned to congratulate the players for their victory against Juventus and stressed to reporters that Napoli’s season is one of the highlights in its history. On this issue, Benitez has ruled "if we win this game, we can beat the record for points in the history of the 'Azzurri' and exceed the highest number of away victories. Two examples of a great season that is Napoli’s this year".

Mister, are you still confident of the second place finish?

"What we have to do is get points. Finishing second depends more on Roma than us. But it is our goal, of course. Tomorrow we have more of a motivation to win the match against Parma, not only can we not afford to fail, we also would beat the record of away wins for Napoli - we start looking forward to victory".

Napoli has managed to win at Roma and Juventus at home. Is it a proof of the continued growth of this team?

"First of all, we have to congratulate both Juventus and AS Roma because they have enjoyed a great season, that's for certain. But we have also achieved significant results in our first year. Possibly we could have done more, I do not deny this but we must not forget that this is a new project that we started this year and we are very happy with the season which so far has been very positive. At the same time, we never forget that our goal is to continue growing and improving our game, our staff aiming to get even higher in the near future".

How can the gap on be narrowed on clubs that have more budget?

"We work with an idea. To construct stronger squads to win titles with next year's team, to be level with teams with more budget we have to seek perfection in everything we do in choosing the right players which fit our idea of play and work to achieve one hundred percent with our workforce. Anybody who wants to see a winning Napoli atop the leaderboard has to help the team, give time to the club, the group and the players in order to play to the maximum and get used to the new features that we have introduced".

Do you have any idea about Napoli in the future?

"Overall, we think this of the more immediate which is what we've always done. I have to publicly congratulate Bigon for his work with me, in the summer market in January. We have made important signings for the team and keep trying to strengthen the staff following the rules of 'financial fair play'. We already did in Valencia and Liverpool and can be done in the same way in Naples. But for this, it takes time and the appropriate investments but we have the ability to get it - I'm sure".

What kind of game do you believe awaits Napoli in Parma?

"Tomorrow we face a team that plays very well, using both the ends and ultimately, have a brilliant game. As regards us, the key tactic will be to play with the same intensity and balance that we had against Juve. To achieve our goals, this is the way to go".

Are you thinking already of the final of the Coppa Italia?

"The possibility of winning a national title is always important of course. It is sure to be a special game for the fans and for the teams who participate in it. But now we have to focus solely on Parma, then we'll have time to think about the final of the Italian Cup".

Do you want to respond to statements issued by Juventus after the game in the 'San Paolo'?

"Whenever we've won big games in the 'San Paolo', our home, we have approached the fans to thank them for their support during the meeting. Played a great game against the best team in Serie A, as a coach that's what I'm interested in and I'm happy. The rest of the controversies surrounding our victory do not interest me. We could see our players with clear ideas, showed that they had a solid foundation to build a future winner for Napoli. We answer in the field, I do not think that there is anything to add on this issue".
