Rafa Benítez analysed Real Madrid's third preseason match, a game in which his side asserted their authority with a clear 0-3 win against Inter Milan: "The players showed a really good attitude. That allows us to defend and continue to attack well. The team is gradually getting into good form. I am very happy".

"Both halves were good. We changed players, and those who remained on the pitch were more tired as you would expect. We played with good intensity, we worked well in defence, the team was united and we showed the same cutting-edge in attack".

"When he gets some continuity into his game his fitness will improve because he has real quality. He is showing that he is motivated, which is the most important thing. He has a good attitude and his contribution will make us stronger".

"Defence is not the most important aspect for me but evidently it can be improved because our attacking is very good. We are working to improve and not allow opponents to create chances against us and subsequently score".

Sergio Ramos

"When I spoke to the president he said he was going to talk to Ramos. The two men are optimistic so we will see what happens".

Goalkeeping situation

"The level of competition among the goalkeepers is always good. They did not have a lot of work today, but they both did well and it is positive to know that I always have an alternative choice of keeper".
