Rafa Benítez spoke to the media in the Tianhe Stadium press room. The Real Madrid coach looked ahead to the match against Inter Milan: "We're here to play an important game. We're up against a very strong, important team. Playing these types of games against opponents as important as Inter Milan is an incentive for us".

"I'm very happy with the welcome that we've been given here. It has been really great; we've been shown real affection. Real Madrid's stature is clear to see in China too. The people on the streets are always asking us for photographs and autographs".

The quality of Isco and James

"As a coach, I'm really happy to have quality players like James and Isco. If we want to be competitive, they have to give 100%. I prefer to have top-level players and they both make it difficult for me. James' attitude has looked really good to me, but he has only recently arrived. Tomorrow we'll make decisions on who is going to play and how long they're each going to play".

"The training sessions in Australia were really high-intensity, and I'm very happy with the work that the team has put in. Tomorrow it'll be hot and humid. We haven't decided on the team yet. We'll do that tomorrow, depending on how things look".

Ramos

"I've been focused on training and I haven't been able to have a chat with either Florentino Pérez or Ramos. Florentino told me that they were going to talk at lunch. Ramos looked good to me, as always".

Benzema and Modric

"Modric and Benzema trained separately and have niggles, but tomorrow we'll decide whether or not they can play against Inter Milan".

Cristiano Ronaldo

"There's no problem at all with him. What happened was part and parcel of the job and of training".
