Rafa Benítez, Real Madrid head coach, expressed his satisfaction after his team's win against Éibar. The 'Whites' manager assessed the match in the Ipurúa press room: "The win came through teamwork, it was achieved through everyone working hard. The things we worked on came off and allowed us to break the deadlock at a difficult ground as well as pick up three points against a tricky opponent. All of the Real Madrid players played sensationally".

"Getting the three points and doing so with such a willingness to dig in was important. The key to maintaining that strength in the future is that the team show that same level of sacrifice, hard work, intensity and effort".

Sacrifice

"The spirit shown by the team and the fact that the players worked hard, intensely, put in a great effort and let their quality shine through".

Team

"It's November and there's still loads of time to go. We have a great team and we're going to fight to win every game from here until the end of the season. Cristiano Ronaldo got a goal, created chances and worked for the team. He contributed to the win and I was delighted with his performance".

Éibar

"They're an aggressive and intense side and they stopped us from getting into our stride. Winning is all the better when it comes against tough opponents who make life difficult for you".

Ipurúa

"I've been here a few times and I like the fact that there's a modest team from a modest city in the topflight. They're an example to us all. They should be proud of themselves".
