Wednesday 3rd September saw us hold a very lively event in the marquee. We had a Buddy Holly Tribute act who can only be described as brilliant. Alan, alias Buddy, entertained 179 ladies who also enjoyed a 3 course dinner, raffle with lots of dancing. Joan Durband won the Diamond Pendant which was very kindly donated by David M. Robinson the jewellers of Liverpool. We raised the grand total of £3812-00 to be shared between our Lady Captain Sheila Wylie's Cancer UK Charity and The Montse Benítez Foundation (MBF). Montse thanks everybody who came to the event, it was a fantastic evening with tremendous support.
