THE LIAM HARKER MEMORIAL FUND

The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer. The main objectives are to increase the number of children cured of cancer, to make treatment less distressing, to find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments.

All proceeds go to the N.E.C.C.R. in Liam’s North of England Children's Cancer Research.

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible, donations big or small.

In Memory of "THE GENTLE GIANT" and "LIVERPOOL FC" Fanatic "LIAM HARKER", all donations/sponsorships are appreciated.

Liam Harker was a 17 year old avid Liverpool fan who touched millions of fans’ hearts around the world with his sad but brave story of his fight against a rare form of stomach cancer and who finally lost this brave battle on May 5th 2008.

Rafa Benitez and the entire LFC squad rallied round and signed a shirt to send to Liam as this was his one wish to have a shirt signed by his idols. Rafa even invited Liam to watch the players train and to meet them but he was too poorly to travel, although he was happy with his shirt that his favourite players signed for him.
