Mr T
At last an opportunity to say thank you Rafa!

I will always be incredibly proud to say that Rafa Benitez was our manager. Some of the things you had to put up with during your six years as manager was astonishing yet you never threw in the towel, showed fantastic integrity and kept fighting. We could not wish to have had a more honourable, passionate, hard working and honest man as you.

You gave us some of the greatest nights of our lives. You always did things in 'The Liverpool Way' and your managerial excellence will sit very comfortably alongside Shankly, Paisley, Fagan and Dalglish in the history of our great club.

The highest compliment I can pay you is to say you are a World class manager.. but an even better person.

I wish you and your family every happiness for the future and look forward to reading your blogs on a regular basis.

Thank you for fighting for us.

You'll Never Walk Alone Rafa.

Dear Rafa,

Thank you for the miracle of Istanbul, for the great Anfield nights, for taking us to the Nou Camp, the San Siro, the Bernabeu and getting results we had no right to achieve.

Thank you for the brilliant footballers you brought to our club, for restucturing a neglected academy, for the pride you gave us in our team, for making us dream.

Thank you for blowing the whistle on Hicks and Gillett and leading our fight against them. Thank you for handling yourself in such trying times with the grace and dignity few others could have maintained.

You stood alone as the only person with the Liverpool cause at heart against a board rife with egoism, greed, and self-aggrandisement.

I wish you the best of luck with the website and wherever your career takes you you will have our best wishes. And I hope your path will one day bring you back to Liverpool, to finish the job you started.

Thankyou Rafa.

rafa itl never be forgotton what you gave and sacrificed for liverpool, and what you continue to give. when you were here there was a magic and an aura about the club and it was born of your personality. there is so so much wrong with football in this country from media to management, there are people who choose to use it, to empower it and play the game. i love that you didnt, i love how you stared down ignorance with a smile, how you spoke to us and for us and noone else. i only wish we could have been louder and stronger when it was our turn. thankyou for everything, the story's not finished is it. to you and your family, john
