Here at the MBF we say a very large thank you to Tom and Carol McPhail of M53 Ford in Birkenhead for their tremendous efforts is helping us to help one of our charities. Tom and Carol had a "WASH FOR WARMTH" campaign in November. M53 offered a free car wash to anybody bringing in duvets or sleeping bags to their showrooms. The campaign brought in over 40 duvets and sleeping bags. Customers even very kindly donated old winter coats. All these items the Charles Thompson Mission will give out to the people in need in Birkenhead. The foundation bought 200 rucksacks, gloves and beanie hats to help keep people warm during winter. People come in off the streets and Bernie and his team always offer a hot meal and warm drinks plus a warm welcome. We wish Bernie and his helpers plus their regular attendees a warm Christmas.
