George and his team were delighted with our donation of £5,800. They will buy special iPads with strong cases for the visiting children to use down in the dale. Also they will use some of the money to refurbish a wet room for severely disabled children. The last part of the donation was to buy a defibrillator. This is a piece of equipment that all the staff have been trained to use. They all hope they won't need it but it is there for emergencies. George was relating some stories about the specially adapted trailer that they use to take children into the dale. This trailer was bought by the Foundation. It seems it is the highlight of Barnstondale and all the children love to ride in it. Congratulations to George and his staff for their fantastic job.
